Or night, or morning, or whatever the hell time it is. I've lost track.
I just finished the second draft of my current novel.
Who cares what time it is?
Listening to Duran Duran's "Love Voodoo" right now. Fits the novel, oddly enough. I don't really like 95% of "modern" Duran Duran, but I dig this song, and it nicely concludes the epilogue. Sort of end credit music, even though there's almost nothing I hate more than movies that have orchestral scores throughout, then end on some fricking song. Annoys me no end. Ah well. Still fits.
Still work to be done, I was making mental notes on things I need to change, but that can wait awhile now.

Huzzah! Much cheering over here on your behalf! Also ordering up a commemorative Dance of Joy for the occasion ;-)

"She rocked out to Wam/Not a big Limp Bizkit fan/Thought she'd get a hand/On a member of Duran Duran..." --"1985" by Bowling for Soup (the video is truly odd and makes me laugh...and that line makes me think of you every time I hear it)
Although the song itself doesn't make me think of you because you are not stuck in the 80s and you hate the name 'debbie'. But the mention of Duran Duran always makes me think of you, probably cuz you're the only fan of theirs that I know.
Also, the lyrics sites on the web inform me it should be 'wham' not 'Wam'. Seems to be some band I've never heard of...but the name George Michaels pops up when I google the band, and him I have heard of (he's referenced in the video).
Honestly going to stop leaving dumb comments here now.
Yeah, Wham! was big in the 80's too. Never got into them though. Bowling for Soup is a very funny (funny hah-hah) name for a band!
They're an odd band. I like their song "Girl All the Bad Guys Want", but the video is weird (why is that guy sitting on a toilet in the middle of the band session?). You can check out their videos here: http://music-codes.com/c-612-bowling-for-soup-Music-Video-Codes.php
I haven't watched the one for "Almost" cuz I don't know the song...
